Claire Wilson

I’m a primary English and maths tutor and founder of CW Educational Services, offering one-to-one tuition both face-to-face and online. I believe that getting to know each child as an individual is an important part of helping them learn. I take time to find out what they already know, where they are finding things difficult and how I can help things begin to make sense.

As a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Tutor, I have a particular interest in supporting children with literacy difficulties and use my specialist knowledge to understand the barriers they may be experiencing and adapt my teaching accordingly. I particularly enjoy helping children grow in confidence and seeing those moments when something they have previously found difficult finally clicks.

I also have experience working with home-educated children and enjoy being able to work flexibly, following each child’s needs and learning at their own pace.
